APM Models Hosts 300-Guest Fashion Event at Slate
On September 9th, 2025, Slate NY became the place to be for NYC’s fashion, modeling, and influencer community. Why? APM Models hosted their 30-year anniversary with a spectacular 300-guest industry celebration inside Slate’s expansive Main Lounge. Known for uniting top-tier brands, rising models, and cultural tastemakers, APM elevated its usual annual gathering into a full-scale creative experience. Slate proved to be the perfect event venue for a night built around connection, inspiration, and artistry.
Fashion week energy was pulsing through Manhattan with new drops, runway shows, and a lot of hype. From the moment the first guests arrived at Slate, the atmosphere was electric. APM — a global agency known for discovering fresh faces and shaping modern cultural storytelling based in New York City — brought its entire creative ecosystem under one roof. This wasn’t just for the models and partner influencers, but also every level of APM management, assistants, stylists, photographers, and more. The result was a unique, high-impact, high-visibility NYC event that showcased not only the agency’s models and influencers’ talent but also Slate’s natural ability to host large-group, press-friendly, content-driven experiences.
A 300-Guest Takeover of Slate’s Main Lounge
To accommodate APM’s full guest list of models, influencers, photographers, stylists, creatives, and brand partners, Slate’s Main Lounge served as the exclusive venue for the night. The room is designed to host large group events from 200 to 1,000+ guests, making it an ideal fit for an agency of APM’s global scale.
The spacious layout allowed for:
Flowing movement between social zones
Attendees did not have to fight their way to the bar or traverse a maze of people to get to the restroom. Slate’s spacious design showcased ease of movement, creating an unhindered party experience.
Sections for photos and video content
Visually spectacular, Slate & APM management coordinated specific zones for photo ops and interviews.
Large clusters of influencer groups
Accommodating group areas and specific brand partners, while allowing fluid movement throughout the space
Multiple bars for consistent service
No one waited more than a few moments to grab a drink or bite, helping keep the vibes high and the good times flowing.
Space for dancing and mingling
Fun was the cornerstone of the event, with areas for entertainment and engagement, along with some dancing.
About APM Models: More Than a Modeling Agency
APM Models has never fit neatly into the traditional agency category — and they prefer it that way. Their approach is rooted in diversity, mindfulness, creativity, intention, and human connection. They represent not just “models of the moment,” but individuals who help shape the culture — influencers, storytellers, innovators, and opinion shapers who bring emotional impact to the brands they collaborate with.
APM’s global network constantly discovers and develops talent across continents and breaks dated “norms”, bringing a stream of new faces and fresh perspectives into New York’s fashion ecosystem. The APM team is built on passion, work ethic, experience, clear focus, and shared values — a collective strength that fuels everything they do. Whether it’s developing new talent, driving brand activations, or producing high-profile campaigns, APM sees ideas before they become trends and knows how to spark emotion through creative execution.
The event, when merged with Slate’s design, reflected that philosophy. This was not a static gathering. It was fluid, energetic, and visually compelling — an evening that captured the APM identity in motion. One look out over the floor showed a vibe full of energy, engaging conversation, and true celebration. After all, getting 30 years of talent and modeling knowledge under one roof, the sense of community and joy was clear for anyone to see.

Expansive, but Intimate
Slate’s ability to feel both expansive and intimate at once allowed different parts of the room to develop their own energy. This is one of the key reasons APM hosted its biggest event ever at Slate. From lively networking conversations to Instagram-worthy content-creation corners, no details were left out.
The most important aspect? The event wasn’t boring. Too often, corporate events in New York are dull, disingenuous, or just lame. Small groups avoid eye contact with others, get stuck in a corner with their backs turned, or simply ignore the event outright. APM’s event at Slate couldn’t have been more different. The space was designed for both exploration and intimate conversation, making it ideal for the night and one of the key reasons they chose to host the event at Slate NYC.
Planning Your Event at Slate
One of the most critical pieces to a successful NYC event is the venue itself. You can have the best entertainment, food, cocktails, vendors, and intentions, but if the space you choose isn’t right, the night won’t be that well-received. Since launching in the year 2000, there has been so much forethought put into every aspect of Slate that it has become one of the most sought-after NYC corporate event spaces, period. With a 1,500-person capacity, Slate can accommodate events of virtually any size — and after 25 years of hosting unforgettable occasions, they’ve perfected the art of bringing nights to life.
